Rail Business Solutions Limited (RBS Ltd.) have updated our Privacy Policy in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to better explain why and how we store your data and what we use it for. RBS recognises the requirement and the need for transparency to both associates and customers.
RBS Ltd strives to continue providing you with exemplary service, the data we hold helps us to tailor our services specifically to your requirements. We keep your records up to date with your expertise, new projects, contact details and availability, so that we can contact you when an opportunity arises that is suitable to you.
GDPR will offer you more control over your data and how you are contacted. RBS Ltd. only processes your information for legitimate RBS Ltd business purposes which include, some or all, of the following:

Rail Business Solutions Ltd (RBS Ltd.) may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name, contact details, address, DOB, employment history and bank details. This may include sensitive personal information including criminal convictions and ethnic origin and any other sensitive details from your CV.
We use and hold the information we collect to provide you with the best possible service. This includes notifying you of future opportunities, submitting your CV for specific job applications (after agreeing with you each time), provide communications to you which we think would be of benefit and/or interest and to contact you about industry updates and events. We may also use your information when maintaining the RBS Ltd internal database to ensure we are able to provide our services to you.
Bank details provided to RBS Ltd. are used only to remit payments of invoices you have supplied to us for work you have carried out for RBS Ltd.
We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as adopted into law of the United Kingdom in the Data Protection Act 2018. Further, by providing telephone and email details, you consent to RBS Ltd. contacting you using either method. You have the right at any time to request a copy of the personal information we hold on you. Should you wish to receive a copy of this, or would like to be removed from our database, please contact us using the contact form.
How we collect information
RBS Ltd. collects information in two ways:
· a) When you directly give it to us (“Directly Provided Data”)
When you communicate with us and become one of our registered associates, you may choose to give us information – for example, by filling in text boxes or completing registration forms. All this information requires a direct action by you at that time for us to receive it.
· b) When you give us permission to obtain from other accounts (“User Authorised Data”)
Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for other online services, you may give us permission to obtain information from your account with those other services. For example, this can be via social media or by choosing to send us your location data when accessing our website from your smartphone.
How long do we keep your data for
RBS Ltd. will not retain your personal information longer than necessary. We will hold the information you provide while you remain as an associate or customer. Or as needed to provide the Services to you, or for as long as is necessary to provide support-related reporting and trend analysis.
If legally required or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our Terms and Conditions, we may also retain some of your information for a limited period of time as required, even after you have closed your account or it is no longer needed to provide the Services to you.
Registration forms/Associate Agreements
RBS Ltd. will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information, gathered as a result of filling out any registration forms or agreements.
